About Us
Our Company
Indiana Mold Remediation was founded because of the large number of calls we were getting at our sister carpet cleaning company. The story was always the same, "I've got mold in my ____, what should I do about it?" Often the homeowner was faced with having to take out a second mortgage on their home in order to have the work done. Although there were instances where this was justified, many times it was not. While many in this industry may seem bent on sensationalism, we provide a common sense approach to removing, killing, or treating mold that provides for safe and efficient remediation of the problem in a cost-effective manner. We have developed a way to effectively handle smaller jobs for a fraction of the cost of others, and we have the latest equipment and training to handle the largest jobs. We set out to add a voice of reason to the exploited market of mold remediation. Again, while mold can and does pose some health concerns, we pride ourselves on the ability to take seemingly impossible projects and make them simple and affordable.
Our Process
Every mold problem will be addressed individually without the "one size fits all" approach, tailoring the solution that will best suit your needs and your pocket book. As a general rule, moisture control is the key to mold control. Because of this, the underlying moisture problem that caused the mold growth must be identified and corrected. After this has been done, the removal or cleanup of mold can begin. Instead of dictating the way in which things must be done, we will give you all of the pertinent information so that you can help in decisions about what is the right approach to take regarding the mold that is in your home or office. In all cases, common sense plays a big role in determining what needs to be done. In instances where there is a small amount of mold growth (less than 10 sq. ft.) in an isolated area, all that may be needed is to cut it out and throw it away. Larger areas (greater than 100 sq. ft.) may need specialized equipment to prevent cross contamination and further damage to the home. IMR is prepared to deal with any situation. We are equipped to handle the largest jobs using negative pressure containments and the most up-to-date decontamination techniques. We can also efficiently handle the smaller, simpler jobs that other companies like to turn into expensive projects. The bottom line is we will work WITH you to make the BEST decision for you.
